6. Take your dog for a walk
Walking your dog can make him happy. It can also ensure that he gets enough exercise, which would promote his health. Doing this on a regular basis would make your dog see it as a routine; and, this would make positive results in your training program, especially if you do it on a regular basis as well.
Today we announce the release of the latest addition to our pet product range. After months of fine tuning, shipments of the Active Collar Training System are finally in transit to Amazon.com warehouses around the United States.
The RopriPet Active Collar Training System consists of an electronic collar and remote control transmitter which allows the dog owner to send various signals during training sessions.
We've listened to our customers who have been asking us to look into training systems for months. Our team has been working on the Active Collar for quite some time and we are very pleased that we have been able to release it in time for the holiday shopping season.
We stress that the RopriPet Active Collar is designed to be used in conjunction with a positive reinforcement training regime. It is a well-known fact that if a dog has turned away and can’t see you, then in his mind you are not there, you don’t exist. In this case it is not uncommon for a dog to totally ignore any commands. With the Active Collar Training System the dog trainer now has a range of stimulants designed to draw the dog’s attention back to where it should be. Depending on the particular dog and his level of stubbornness, the trainer can choose from a short and sharp beeping noise, 100 different levels of vibration, or in extreme cases, a short, low voltage electrical stimulant.
None of the stimulant settings are designed to instill fear or pain to the dog unlike many older style e-Collars that were definitely designed for those purposes. The electrical stimulant, for instance, is not at a much higher level than the many TENS devices used in Electrotherapy Pain Management for humans, and even so can be adjusted down 100 levels in the same manner the vibration function can be adjusted.
The Active Collar features an LCD display, 330-yard range, is fully rechargeable (both receiver and transmitter) and is weatherproof. The kit is supplied with one receiver for training one dog, but can be expanded to a second collar if two dogs are to be trained at once.
For the time being, if a customer wants to expand the system to a second collar, the will need to contact us directly to arrange an expansion receiver, but by mid-December we hope to be able to offer both kits on Amazon.com. Shortly after that, we will be introducing a fully waterproof and submersible version in both one and two dog kits.

5. Do not forget about your dog’s health.
Before training your dog, you have to make sure that he is in top condition. This is because, a dog that is not feeling a hundred percent well would not have the focus that you want him to have. He should be a happy and healthy dog to begin with, which is why you should make sure that he eats nutritious foods, and he should be taken to a veterinarian for his regular checkups.
4. Prepare treats
Dogs love treats like dog biscuits, and such. Prior to taking the steps in training your pet, you should prepare treats as rewards for your pet, whenever your dog is able to follow your command. Make sure that the kind of treats you have prepared is something that he really likes much, so that he would really know that he has done something right. But also remember, treats are food, so take this into account at meal time!
3. Be positive
Be positive at all times when it comes to training your dog. A positive attitude will mean a lot for your pet, since he can feel when you become frustrated or angry. Being positive means that you have to praise him whenever he does something good. Aside from that, you should also believe that your pet can do it, so as to encourage a more positive atmosphere.
